Staff Software Engineer (Fullstack AI)

Salary: $252,000–$315,000 USD annually, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Deploy flexibly into critical product initiatives across Contributor teams.
• Lead the architectural evolution of platform infrastructure for sustainability, robustness, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Design deep integrations with LLMs and foundation models.
• Own large, ambiguous problem spaces across backend, frontend, and ML systems.
• Partner with product and leadership on roadmaps and priorities.
• Mentor and develop engineers across the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-time engineering experience after graduation.
• Proven experience operating as a Tech Lead, Architect, or Principal Engineer.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Experience with LLMs, vector databases, and modern AI technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
