Software Engineer II (AI)

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and deliver user-facing frontend features from design concepts through production deployment.
• Write clean, performant, and maintainable TypeScript and React code.
• Participate in frontend architecture discussions, design reviews, and peer code reviews.
• Work with product managers and UX/UI designers to turn user requirements into technical tasks and reusable UI components.
• Monitor and optimize frontend responsiveness, availability, and user experience.
• Integrate APIs and backend services supporting AI inference and data retrieval.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants in engineering workflows.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and the modern React ecosystem.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, UI design patterns, and state management.
• Ability to turn design mocks and product specifications into production-quality code.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building or shipping LLM-powered applications or conversational user interfaces.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to data analytics, BI tools, or data visualization frameworks.
• Basic understanding of backend services, REST or GraphQL APIs, and AI/ML model-serving systems.
