Software Developer – Web/Cloud Application, Co-op

Location: Richmond, BC, Canada; hybrid work with four days on site from Monday to Thursday

Salary: CAD 25–28.5 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and translate them into reliable software designs.
• Implement and test features across a cloud-based application stack.
• Integrate and configure subsystems in a cloud-native environment.
• Contribute to the on-time delivery of stable, production-ready software.
• Write clear documentation for owned features.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a software focus.
• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript application development.
• Experience with Linux-based software development and web application development.
• Knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, plus Docker containers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with initiative and pragmatic risk management.
