Software Engineer Co-Op or Intern (TypeScript)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada — hybrid or remote within Canada

Salary: CA$55K–CA$68K annually

What you will do

• Support the development of new full-stack features for the Agents team, from design through implementation.
• Write, test, debug, and review code while maintaining software quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document features and enhancements to support maintainability and ease of understanding.
• Learn emerging technologies and actively seek feedback and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related program and seeking a co-op or internship.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or similar programming languages, with TypeScript preferred.
• Familiarity with a front-end framework such as React and basic back-end languages or frameworks such as Node.js.
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, initiative, ownership, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or eligible to work in Canada and must undergo a criminal records check upon hire.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience in a high-velocity startup or AI-first environment.
