Fullstack Senior Engineer (React)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: $120,800–$170,800 per year

What you will do

• Establish and implement new or revised enterprise application systems in coordination with technology and management teams.
• Design and enhance microservices and distributed architectures for new products and process improvements.
• Define coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and application design standards.
• Analyze complex business and system processes to develop innovative solutions.
• Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts while allocating work as needed.
• Assess and manage technology, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Expert proficiency in React 18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, with experience in Angular or Vue considered beneficial.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, micro-frontends, Module Federation, single-spa, Next.js SSR/SSG, and CSR optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring, cloud infrastructure and platforms, relational and non-relational databases, and deployment and testing tools.
• Experience as an Applications Development Manager, including stakeholder management, people management, project management, and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or government.
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones and offshore delivery partners.
• Familiarity with Vue or Angular.
• Master’s degree.
