Software Development Engineer - Agent Factory (AI)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Hybrid Flex Work requires spending at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners.

Annual base salary: CAD 112,000–168,000, depending on work location, experience, skills, duties, and business need. The role may also include bonus or commission eligibility and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Build and deliver features that power AI agents embedded in HR and Finance workflows.
• Design and ship full-stack user experiences and resilient backend services.
• Own services and product experiences from development through production operations.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers, product managers, and platform teams in a cross-functional pod.
• Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and raise engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years designing, building, and operating highly scalable distributed systems in production.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or an equivalent field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed-systems architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, Docker, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch.
