Director, SVP (Enterprise Operations Change Management)

Location: Hybrid role with onsite work four days per week and remote work one day per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of corporate offices in Buffalo, NY; Baltimore, MD; Bridgeport, CT; or Wilmington, DE. Quarterly travel is expected.

Salary: $128,900.00–$214,900.00 annual USD.

What you will do

• Lead and mature the Enterprise Operations Change Management capability.
• Build and manage a team of change management professionals supporting strategic priorities.
• Develop change strategies for complex operational, technology, regulatory, and transformation initiatives.
• Advise executive sponsors, senior leaders, and program teams on readiness, adoption, stakeholder engagement, and organizational impacts.
• Apply M&T's enterprise change management frameworks, standards, methodologies, and tools in partnership with the Enterprise Change Management Office.
• Establish metrics and reporting for readiness, adoption, utilization, engagement, sustainability, and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 9 years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, transformation, communications, learning and development, project management, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale organizational change initiatives within complex organizations.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing across multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to work onsite four days per week from a reasonable commuting distance to one of the listed U.S. corporate offices.

Nice to have

• Dedicated Organizational Change Management experience and experience scaling a change management team or function.
• Banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale operational or technology transformations.
• Certified Change Management Professional certification or Human-Centered Design experience.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, influencing, and implementation planning skills.
