Director, Strategic Business Planning (Retirement Products)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa; hybrid work with three days per week in a U.S. hub office. U.S. work authorization is required, and immigration sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance is not provided. Occasional travel of less than 10% is expected.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Drive enterprise initiatives, organizational change, and process improvement across the Retirement product line.
• Manage project portfolio execution, including prioritization, business cases, resource alignment, and planning.
• Coordinate dependencies, critical business requirements, user acceptance testing, risk management, issue resolution, scope changes, and implementation planning.
• Assign and oversee Business Analyst and Product Owner resources on strategic initiatives.
• Establish governance, communication methods, tools, and accountability practices across programs.
• Direct decision-making, problem resolution, and execution quality across large and complex projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of strategic planning experience, including five years managing complex multisystem or multi-department projects.
• Experience with negotiation, facilitation, planning, organization, analysis, problem solving, and management of multiple priorities and project staff.
• Ability to communicate with and guide stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project development or management tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Expert-level knowledge of project management theory, tools, and practice.
• Change management and training experience.
• Strong technical background and experience with the software development life cycle.
