Organizational Change Management Director (Healthcare)

Location: Brookline, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with 2–3 onsite days per week

Salary: $188,900–$204,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and continuously improve the enterprise organizational change management strategy, operating model, and multi-year roadmap.
• Oversee high-impact change initiatives across clinical, operational, process, policy, and technology domains.
• Lead the Organizational Change Management Center of Excellence and establish scalable methodologies, standards, tools, and measures.
• Build leadership and organizational capability through coaching, training, facilitation, and development of change resources.
• Partner with clinical, HR, PMO, information systems, operations, finance, communications, and senior leaders to improve readiness, engagement, adoption, and benefits realization.
• Hire, develop, supervise, and manage staff, including a Change Management Consultant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development or design, organizational or industrial psychology, business administration, communications, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible organizational change management experience in large, complex organizations.
• At least 5 years leading enterprise transformations and managing teams.
• Experience integrating organizational change management with PMO or project management processes and stage-gates.
• Advanced knowledge of change management frameworks, executive advising, stakeholder engagement, strategic communication, readiness assessment, analytics, and benefits realization.
• Formal organizational change management methodology certification, such as Kotter, ACMP, PMI-CM, or an equivalent credential, is required.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or academic medical center experience.
• CCMP or comparable certification.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
