Paper Machine Shift Supervisor (Paper Mill)

Location: Counce, Tennessee, United States; onsite paper mill position.

Salary: $86,400–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise operating personnel in the Paper Machine, Refining, Recycle, and Shipping areas.
• Monitor operations and communicate department status to area and operations management.
• Identify and report process problems and safety concerns.
• Develop supervised employees and use their capabilities effectively.
• Administer the union labor agreement fairly and consistently.
• Maintain complete, legible, and accessible work documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in the pulp and paper industry or a related industry.
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership ability.
• Paper mill experience is required.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
