Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover Plant, Dover, Delaware, United States. Second-shift hours: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year. Eligible for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations for an assigned area and second shift.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety, and employee engagement objectives.
• Lead, develop, empower, and support direct reports through teamwork, on-the-job assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and promote safety programs and safe work practices through plant safety teams and initiatives.
• Build effective departments with qualified personnel and maintain sound employee and labor relations.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively with hourly employees through senior management.

Nice to have

• BA/BS degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
