Technical Trainer III (HVAC Chillers)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday offers flexibility based on work requirements. The role may require 25–30% travel to customer, corporate, and field office training events.

Annual base salary: $62,000–$129,400.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver technical service training for commercial HVAC products at the La Crosse training center, regional sales offices, and customer locations.
• Create technical training courses using instructional systems design methods throughout the course design lifecycle.
• Evaluate and update assigned training courses and contribute to asynchronous eLearning development as a content subject matter expert.
• Analyze learning needs, coordinate skill assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts on course delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering during new product development activities.
• Provide functional leadership for the instructional team across the La Crosse, Davidson, and White Bear Lake training centers.

Requirements

• At least six years of work experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
• Training and development experience preferred.
• Associate degree, HVAC vocational degree, or equivalent HVAC training program completion preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
• Strong expertise in Trane chiller products preferred; Trane equipment experience is also preferred.
