Health and Safety Lead (Telecommunications)

Location: United Kingdom; location-independent working with potential travel to hirify.globalThree offices and customer sites within a reasonable geographic area of the home address

hirify.globalThree is building and enhancing a UK telecommunications network, expanding 5G and digital infrastructure while supporting connectivity for businesses, services, and communities.

What you will do

• Support the safe delivery of network build, upgrade, and decommissioning activities.
• Provide practical Health & Safety guidance and coaching to colleagues, suppliers, contractors, and delivery partners.
• Integrate Health & Safety requirements into network planning, design, construction, and operational processes.
• Participate in site visits, supplier reviews, audits, operational engagements, and non-conformance resolution.
• Monitor performance data, audit findings, and emerging trends to identify risks and support evidence-based improvements.
• Coordinate training, awareness activities, supplier onboarding, regulatory updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant Health & Safety experience, ideally in telecommunications or another high-risk operational environment.
• Level 6 Health & Safety qualification, or active progress toward achieving one.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of network deployment activities and Health & Safety requirements across the delivery lifecycle.
• Experience supporting audits, reviewing findings, tracking performance measures, and implementing improvement actions.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, coaching, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
