Sr. Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (Remote, ESP) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Spain — Remote; travel up to 25% primarily within EMEA and participation in an incident-response on-call rotation.

What you will do

• Lead the EMEA environmental health and safety program and translate global standards into regional and country-level roadmaps.
• Administer Spain’s Internal Prevention Service, including risk assessments, preventive planning, training, consultation, occupational health activities, and external provider coordination.
• Manage regional audits, inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency preparedness, and EHS readiness across offices, remote operations, TechOps, infrastructure, contractors, events, and acquisitions.
• Build partnerships with regional leadership, HR, legal, security, business resilience, employee representatives, and technical teams.
• Own the regional EHS budget, vendors, consultants, metrics, and leadership reporting.
• Integrate AI and automation into EHS workflows, analysis, training, compliance tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in a global, multi-country, or multi-site organization.
• University degree and a Spanish legally recognized higher-level occupational risk-prevention qualification, including Seguridad en el Trabajo and Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada; Higiene Industrial is preferred.
• Experience leading or operating an Internal Prevention Service in Spain and coordinating accredited external prevention providers.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish occupational risk-prevention requirements and European Union EHS requirements.
• Experience with EHS programs, risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency readiness, budgets, vendors, metrics, and reporting.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Nice to have

• EHS experience in data centers, hardware integration facilities, or critical technology infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, hazardous energy control, material handling, ergonomics, noise, contractor safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Experience in technology or geographically dispersed organizations.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001-aligned management systems and qualifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or CMIOSH.
