Environmental Compliance Technician

Location: Hybrid role reporting out of Dublin, Ohio, US

What you will do

• Review disposal approvals, assign material codes, select vendors, and maintain approval records in SAP and waste-profiling systems.
• Provide technical support to sales, customer service, and branch teams on waste profiles and approvals.
• Maintain accurate waste-stream, vendor, and compliance data for manifesting and labeling.
• Identify and escalate compliance concerns to support adherence to applicable environmental regulations.
• Review technology changes and disposal costs to support margin objectives.
• Track regulatory changes and complete required RCRA and DOT training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred, or at least one year of hazardous-waste-management or related technical experience.
• Basic knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and state environmental regulations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to learn and apply environmental regulations, processes, and systems effectively.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement reporting from Dublin, Ohio.
