Forward-Deployed Product Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; flexible hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week at the San Francisco Financial District office.

Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own the strategic relationship with 1–2 health plan customers and guide the product toward their specific needs.
• Build expertise in utilization management, prior authorization, and clinical workflows.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Manage project timelines, delivery, and communication across customer and engineering stakeholders.
• Identify patterns across customer accounts to inform the broader product roadmap.
• Help define the customer delivery playbook as hirify.global scales.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in product management and/or consulting.
• Strong communication skills for client meetings, product specifications, and follow-up.
• Project management discipline and the ability to track details and meet deadlines.
• Comfort working with technical teams and translating between business and engineering.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and manage complex client situations.
• Passion for solving major healthcare challenges.

Nice to have

• MPH, MHA, or another health policy or public health credential.
• Experience at a health plan, BHMO, managed care organization, or health plan vendor.
• Strategy consulting background.
