Forward Deployed Product Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in the US; travel to customer sites and classified facilities is required.

What you will do

• Own product outcomes for military planning portfolios and high-impact national security accounts.
• Translate operational military workflows and simulation requirements into actionable platform signals for engineering teams.
• Build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with senior military and civilian leadership.
• Drive the deployment of AI and data systems into classified and operationally constrained environments.
• Coordinate between Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) and Platform teams to resolve product bottlenecks.
• Identify and develop expansion opportunities grounded in demonstrated customer value.

Requirements

• Active TOP SECRET security clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).
• Direct experience working with the U.S. Department of War (DoW) or the U.S. national security community.
• 6+ years in product management or technical program management, operating at a senior/staff level of scope.
• Proven record of shipping AI or data products into large, constrained, or classified organizations.
• Working knowledge of military planning processes (e.g., JPP) or real-time streaming data architectures.
• Ability to travel, including to classified facilities.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with AI/ML platform products, agentic capabilities, RLHF, or model evaluation pipelines.
• Hands-on familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
• Prior military service or DoD/DoW civilian experience in operations, planning, or acquisitions.
