Project Controls Specialist (4004)

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States. US citizenship is required due to government contract and clearance requirements.

What you will do

• Independently assess and monitor project schedule, cost, risk, change management, cash flow, and execution performance.
• Analyze project controls data to identify trends, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare management reports covering project status, performance issues, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Develop analyses, metrics, and decision-support information for project performance reviews.
• Recommend corrective actions and coordinate with project stakeholders to support informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable project controls information for reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Experience supporting project controls activities, project performance assessment, or project monitoring.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, cost, risk, change management, cash flow forecasting, and project execution metrics.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical recommendations.
• Ability to prepare management-level reports and support project performance reviews.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• US citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with earned value management, project scheduling, and cost analysis.
• Experience supporting large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing forecasts, performance metrics, risk assessments, and corrective-action recommendations.
