TL;DR
Sr. Manager, Payroll Data Integrity (Payroll Analytics/AI): Leading enterprise payroll data validation, reconciliation, audit, and analytics across a complex, multi-state healthcare organization with an accent on payroll accuracy, compliance, data governance, and executive reporting. Focus on building Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards, automating controls with SQL and Python, and analyzing complex physician compensation data.

Location: Remote

Salary: $56,700–$85,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

  • Lead enterprise payroll data integrity, validation, reconciliation, audit, and analytics across a multi-state healthcare organization.
  • Review payroll inputs and outputs, including physician and provider compensation, to identify discrepancies, risks, and accuracy improvements.
  • Develop payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics covering accuracy, trends, labor costs, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, Compensation, Finance, Accounting, Operations, HRIS, IT, and practice leadership to strengthen controls, systems, and data governance.
  • Drive automation and analytics initiatives using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in healthcare payroll.
  • Experience with high-volume, multi-state, multi-entity payroll operations, payroll audits, reconciliation, compliance, controls, and complex physician compensation.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, including Power Query, PivotTables, DAX, large datasets, and executive reporting.
  • Knowledge of payroll controls, taxation, wage and hour regulations, data governance, SOX compliance, and healthcare payroll requirements.
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, UKG, QGenda, or comparable platforms, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

  • SQL, Python, and AI experience.
