Senior ERP Applications Analyst - Payroll (Workday)

Pay range: $95,000–$135,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Own the ongoing maintenance, configuration, and optimization of Workday Payroll in partnership with IT, payroll, HR, business stakeholders, leadership, and external vendors.
• Configure payroll earnings, deductions, pay groups, calculations, costing allocations, schedules, security roles, custom validations, business processes, and integrations.
• Lead end-to-end payroll improvement initiatives covering requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and training support.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex configuration and integration issues.
• Support Workday biannual releases through regression testing and adoption of new functionality.
• Represent Workday Payroll in organizational projects, maintain the initiative pipeline, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of ERP experience, including 5 or more years specializing in Workday Payroll.
• At least 2 years of experience with Workday integrations, security, and custom reporting.
• Experience configuring payroll and timekeeping systems, analyzing payroll reports, and connecting registers with related reports.
• Ability to configure Workday business processes, custom validations, and calculated fields to meet business requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting Workday integrations, including EIBs and Core Connectors, with knowledge of systems architecture, APIs, and integration best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Workday certification, particularly Workday Payroll Certification.
• Experience with Workday Grants.
• Experience in complex, matrixed environments, preferably healthcare.
• Experience with large-scale, full-cycle implementations.
