Cybersecurity Engineer (Endpoint Security)

Location: Plainview, New York, United States; up to 10% travel required

Salary: $62,759–$79,494 annually, plus bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Perform vulnerability scanning, analysis, prioritization, remediation tracking, and validation.
• Support enterprise-wide vulnerability health checks and security reporting.
• Operate endpoint detection and response capabilities and monitor Cisco Umbrella policies.
• Identify end-of-life and unsupported systems, supporting decommissioning or formal risk exceptions.
• Collaborate with incident response and cross-functional teams to investigate security alerts and deliver cybersecurity initiatives.
• Contribute to security standards, best practices, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of foundational cybersecurity principles, endpoint detection and response, networking, and system administration.
• Familiarity with password vaulting and secure credential management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies, with the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Plainview, New York, and travel up to 10%.
