Computer Network Defense, Lead (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor and defend enterprise environments across multiple security domains and delivery platforms.
• Respond to HBSS alerts, SIEM events, and cyber incident response triggers.
• Administer IPS/IDS tools and conduct ACAS scans.
• Analyze security data across endpoint, network, and cloud environments to support incident response decisions.
• Generate security posture, threat, and risk reports and brief leadership.
• Lead defensive cyber operations teams and improve CND SOPs, playbooks, and workflows.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
• Minimum 7 years of related professional experience, including 5 years in CND and incident response.
• Experience with IPS/IDS tools, ACAS scans, SIEM-driven incident response, Tableau reporting, CMDB support, and security briefings.
• Experience leading defensive cyber operations or coordinating multi-platform CND activities.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI and an MS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 10+ years of related experience and 7+ years in CND, risk management, and continuous security tool management.
• Experience with cyber-attack analysis, battle damage assessments, insider-threat detection, vulnerability management, and security assessment.
• Familiarity with enterprise cyber defense architecture integrating SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts and guide technical teams during cyber incidents.
