Patient Coordinator (Organ Health)

What you will do

• Act as the dedicated point of contact and advocate for patients undergoing Organ Health genetic testing.
• Coordinate sample collection scheduling, turnaround-time expectations, billing information, and next steps.
• Respond to patient-generated leads and conduct outbound outreach for patient identification, monitoring, and ongoing testing programs.
• Assess patient needs, solve problems, and escalate complex issues to medical, sales, customer experience, territory management, and billing partners.
• Build and maintain patient relationships to encourage timely and recurring testing.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage and address urgent patient needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of inbound and outbound call center, patient services, or healthcare customer support experience.
• At least 2 years of sales experience.
• Strong empathy, active listening, rapport-building, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems, work independently and collaboratively, and act with urgency.
• Ability to work with protected health information and comply strictly with HIPAA requirements, including verifying patient identity during every interaction.
• Background in medical or biological sciences is preferred.
