Patient Access Specialist (Seasonal Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Plano, TX; candidates must be based locally. Four weeks of onsite onboarding are required, followed by the potential to work from home four days per week based on performance.

hirify.global is building a technology-driven drug acquisition platform to improve cost and service efficiency in the pharmacy benefit management sector.

What you will do

• Educate patient members about pharmacy benefits and help them source medications through drug savings programs.
• Support members, healthcare providers, physicians, and pharmacies through outbound calls, email, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate enrollment in medication cost-saving programs.
• Resolve patient requests accurately and compassionately while meeting quality standards.
• Maintain detailed call documentation and follow up on open cases.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patient cases with a high sense of urgency.

Requirements

• Local Plano, TX residency is required.
• 100% attendance is required during the training period.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least two years of healthcare or pharmacy experience in customer service or support.
• Proficiency with Windows PC and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, multitasking, prioritization, and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Customer support or call center experience.
