Operations Analyst (Telecommunications)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA; compensation is also specified for New York, NY.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually, geo-adjusted based on location and depending on experience and interview performance.

What you will do

• Manage complex, high-volume customer interactions and technical troubleshooting through resolution.
• Test the mobile network, confirm reliability, identify issues, and communicate findings and resolutions to customers.
• Identify manual bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering to build scalable tools and more efficient workflows.
• Act as an internal tester for mobile applications, identify bugs, and provide product feedback.
• Manage device inventory, supply chain workflows, product compatibility, and relationships with carriers, Google, Apple, and other partners.
• Support fraud response and develop operational playbooks and team processes as hirify.global scales.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and technical communication skills for conversations with engineers and customers.
• Ability to handle high-volume work and manage multiple customer issues simultaneously.
• Experience in fast-paced operations, customer support, or high-volume technical execution.
• Experience or clear interest in managing people and workflows and building scalable teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, national service, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Arlington, VA location.

Nice to have

• Experience with supply chain, logistics, eCommerce, or telecommunications workflows.
• Experience with mobile app testing, product quality assurance, and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with mobile device troubleshooting, command line tools, radio communications, or similar technical workflows.
