Quality Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Birmingham, with travel to project offices and sites as required

Company

Infrastructure services are being delivered on behalf of the Taylor Woodrow and hirify.global joint venture for the Washwood Heath HS2 depot project.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System in line with ISO standards and industry best practices.
• Plan and lead internal and external quality audits, monitor KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage non-conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions, and timely resolution of quality issues.
• Integrate quality processes across design, engineering, operations, execution, and handover.
• Review project documentation, specifications, and procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide quality training, respond to client quality inquiries, and present performance reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of quality management experience in infrastructure, construction, or heavy industry.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 9001-based Quality Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure standards, regulatory requirements, and project delivery practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office, with willingness to travel to project offices and sites.

Nice to have

• ISO 9001 Certified Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience working with HS2.
