AI-Assisted Software Engineer

Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon, United States; hybrid with 4 days in the office. Little to no travel required.

Salary: $105,600–$145,200 per year.

What you will do

• Orchestrate and supervise AI development agents for coding, documentation, refactoring, prompt management, and quality evaluation.
• Design modular, scalable, secure, and cost-aware full-stack architectures.
• Build frontend interfaces and backend API microservices.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Translate prototypes and product requirements into execution plans and maintain Architectural Decision Records.
• Align engineering quality and delivery with performance indicators and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Full-stack software development experience across frontend UI, backend microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and databases.
• Experience with React, C#, or SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents, agentic programming, code generation, refactoring, and prompt optimization.
• Experience establishing continuous quality assurance frameworks and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Strong system architecture skills and experience translating product requirements into modular execution plans.
• Commitment to ethical AI practices, including data privacy, explainability, transparency, and bias mitigation.

Nice to have

• Experience creating evaluation datasets or prompt libraries for AI agent workflows.
• Familiarity with platform integration standards, custom file services, and Architectural Decision Record frameworks.
• Entrepreneurial experience driving innovative technical projects independently.
