Development Underwriter (Life Sciences)

Location: Flexible UK location with hybrid working aligned to Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham or London offices

What you will do

• Develop and manage broker relationships across key UK markets.
• Create, identify and convert new Life Sciences business opportunities.
• Underwrite Life Sciences risks within delegated authority.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities and maintain CRM activity.
• Represent hirify.global at broker meetings, market events and industry forums.
• Provide market insight and support underwriting appetite, portfolio growth and profitability objectives.

Requirements

• Underwriting experience in Commercial Combined, Property and Casualty, Financial Lines or Life Sciences.
• Strong broker development, relationship-building and trading skills.
• Commercial awareness with confidence negotiating and influencing outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to work in the UK with hybrid attendance aligned to a hirify.global office.
