Enterprise Architect (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Define and evolve enterprise Data & AI architecture visions, target-state architectures, reference architectures, principles, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and validate modern data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, and streaming solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Define AI/ML, MLOps, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, model lifecycle, monitoring, orchestration, and governance architecture patterns.
• Establish standards for data modelling, governance, master data, metadata, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
• Guide architecture reviews and advise engineering, analytics, AI, data science, security, cloud, and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate technologies and vendors while balancing business value, technical fit, security, cost, privacy, regulatory requirements, and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data, solution, or enterprise architecture, or comparable technical leadership roles with strong Data & AI exposure.
• Experience designing or governing large-scale data platforms and knowledge of data modelling approaches such as dimensional modelling, Data Vault, data mesh, or data fabric.
• Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, MLOps, Generative AI, LLM architectures, RAG, vector databases, model orchestration, and LLMOps.
• Experience with major cloud Data & AI ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and/or Databricks or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data cataloguing, data quality, TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate.
• Work location: Brussels, Belgium. Strong communication skills are required for working with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, ArchiMate, Databricks, Azure Data or AI, AWS Data or Machine Learning, or Google Cloud Data or Machine Learning certifications.
