Software Development Engineer (24-month Fixed Term) (Golang/TypeScript)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; hybrid work environment

Base salary: $117,485–$156,318 per year for new hires; full range $117,485–$211,605 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software solutions and services.
• Lead complex features and technical initiatives from design through production.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, system improvements, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of relevant professional experience or equivalent expertise.
• Experience delivering software through the full development lifecycle and independently solving complex technical problems.
• Experience with full-stack development using Golang, TypeScript, React, RESTful design, AWS CDK, infrastructure as code, Postgres, NoSQL, containerized systems, and serverless architectures.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, system design, modern engineering practices, and scalable production solutions.
• Experience working cross-functionally in an agile environment and mentoring other engineers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Bellevue, Washington, United States.
