Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/Node.js)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; hybrid work is also possible, preferably in Boston, MA. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the Action Library and Command Center used to create, configure, govern, preview, version, and publish member actions.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Deliver full-stack features using Node.js/Fastify services, PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and platform integrations.
• Design and maintain contract-first REST APIs with shared TypeScript models and schema validation.
• Integrate orchestration, decisioning, and Kafka-based publishing services into reliable action workflows.
• Build automated tests, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with product, design, engineering, and platform teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with strong React and TypeScript expertise.
• Production experience building modern React web applications and Node.js/TypeScript REST services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Understanding of state management, routing, accessibility, performance optimization, responsive design, API contracts, and schema validation.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with React 19, TanStack tools, Fastify, Prisma, Drizzle ORM, Redis, and PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI, code generation, contract-first API development, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with workflow-driven applications, operational consoles, enterprise tooling, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, SSO, RBAC, or enterprise identity solutions.
• Healthcare, insurance, regulated-industry, compliance, or PHI-handling experience.
