Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid work with two core office days per week

Annual base pay: $117,300–$156,400

What you will do

• Build, test, and deploy solutions for the e-commerce platform.
• Develop reliable server-side services and scalable cloud-native applications.
• Improve the speed and quality of the online shopping experience with marketing teams.
• Partner with data analytics, operations, fulfillment, and shipping teams to support business decisions and warehouse services.
• Collaborate with QA engineers on end-to-end testing throughout the CI/CD lifecycle.
• Build reporting services and self-service internal tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software and business solutions.
• Experience with REST, modern web technologies, and server-side frameworks such as NestJS, Next.js, Symfony, or Laravel.
• Professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, React Router, Remix, or another modern JavaScript frontend framework.
• Cloud-native development experience, preferably with AWS, plus scalable architecture and SQL, ORM, query optimization, and schema design knowledge.
• Ability to lead full-stack solutions from concept to completion, take ownership, and guide other engineers.

Nice to have

• E-commerce experience and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with commercetools, Contentful CMS, A/B testing platforms, infrastructure as code, or DevOps.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts.
