Senior Manager, M&A Finance Integration

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office presence.

Annual salary: $190,000–$230,000 USD.

What you will do

• Own finance integration planning and execution for transactions from LOI and due diligence through signing, Day 1, and Day 90.
• Coordinate finance workstreams with Corporate Development, Legal, People, Technical Accounting, and target finance teams.
• Drive Day 1 readiness across banking, payroll, AP/AR, ERP entities, cost centers, project codes, chart of accounts, and expense policies.
• Manage closing spreadsheets, net working capital mechanics, post-close true-ups, external advisors, issue logs, risk registers, and executive reporting.
• Run the legal entity lifecycle program, including entity setup, international registrations, banking, ERP creation, compliance onboarding, wind-down, and intercompany settlement.
• Build playbooks, templates, trackers, and AI-assisted automation for recurring integration and entity-management work.

Requirements

• End-to-end ownership of at least two finance integration or entity setup projects, including planning, execution, and executive reporting.
• Working accounting fluency covering close calendars, chart of accounts, intercompany accounting, statutory reporting, purchase accounting fundamentals, and deal structures.
• Strong program-management skills across ambiguous, parallel workstreams and milestone-driven delivery.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent in an acquisition or migration context.
• Ability to work credibly with Legal, Tax, People, Corporate Development, Finance functions, and target finance leadership under confidential deal-environment pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience; relevant field of study required.

Nice to have

• 10+ years in finance, accounting, or finance operations, including 3+ years running cross-functional programs at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience building finance integration playbooks, template libraries, or integration management office infrastructure.
• International entity setup, statutory audit, local GAAP, employer-of-record bridges, transfer pricing, and intercompany agreement experience.
• Experience with standalone subsidiaries, consolidation bridges, equity-method investments, or AI-assisted workflow automation.
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification and alignment with AI safety.
