Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines; hybrid working arrangements with possible shifts aligned to the Americas, EMEA, and Asia

What you will do

  • Monitor and facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned countries.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, tax reports, and management reports in compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax audit requirements, statistical reporting, and communications with auditors, legal authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements and maintain accurate statutory ledgers under US and local GAAP.
  • Supervise daily team operations, including work allocation, scheduling, hiring, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive accounting process improvements, manage ad hoc projects, and present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of professional Finance and Accounting experience, including 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with SOX, local statutory audits, statutory financial statement preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency, strong analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and deadline-management skills.
  • Ability to work shifts aligned with global assignments in the Americas, EMEA, or Asia.
  • Openness to international travel of up to 0–5% and to rapid change and new technologies.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or accountancy.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certifications.
  • Shared service center or BPO experience in a multinational corporation.
  • Global Account to Report experience and solid US GAAP knowledge.
  • Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
