Accountant (Payroll & Compensation) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review and process daily accounting transactions with accurate supporting documentation and internal controls.
• Use accounting systems including Ariba, Oracle Fusion, and Certify while following company policies.
• Prepare reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment coordination with Treasury, payroll and compensation transactions, fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany activities.
• Support reporting, audits, process improvements, documentation, and accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• At least five years of combined experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit.
• Proficiency with accounting software or applications and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English required for effective verbal and written communication.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Experience with multinational operations.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP Ariba, and automated expense management tools.
• Project management skills, including planning, time management, communication, risk management, problem-solving, adaptability, and negotiation.
