Junior Accountant

What you will do

• Complete settlement reporting, reconciliations, and accounting activities accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve financial variances to reduce risk and improve reporting accuracy.
• Manage assigned portfolios, escalate issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely resolutions.
• Support system enhancements, process automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and support compliance, governance, and internal and external audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience involving financial reporting, reconciliations, or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle, Frontier, SAP, or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies, manage competing priorities, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver accurate results under deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms, audit engagements, or accounting internships.
• Microsoft 365 experience and exposure to process improvement, system enhancement, or automation initiatives.
