APAC Transport Operations Lead (MedTech)

Location: Science Park Drive, Singapore; hybrid arrangement indicated. Requires up to 25–30% regional and international travel.

What you will do

• Optimize inbound transportation from manufacturing sites and global hubs to regional hubs, affiliates, distributor warehouses, and outbound customers across APAC.
• Manage third-party and fourth-party logistics providers, including global control tower partners, through performance metrics and continuous improvement programs.
• Support the deployment and maturity of the global control tower in the APAC region.
• Measure transport reliability and provide performance input for regional and executive reviews.
• Deliver annual cost improvement and productivity targets while protecting service, quality, reliability, and compliance.
• Translate inventory strategy and business requirements into transportation solutions for manufacturing network changes and new product launches.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, transportation, trade compliance, logistics, or related operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, customs regulations, and import/export operations in Asia Pacific.
• Expertise in transportation planning, carrier and logistics-provider management, and control-tower operating models.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, including budgeting, financial reconciliation, and transportation cost analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, international trade, or a related field.
• English required; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with global trade systems, transportation management systems, ERP platforms, and transport visibility or automation tools.
• Experience leading regional or global process standardization initiatives.
• Lean or continuous improvement certification, knowledge of good distribution practice, and awareness of responsible AI use and prompt creation.
