Logistics Coordinator Internship

What you will do

• Observe and assess the applicability of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for logistics operations.
• Gain practical familiarity with warehousing processes at DSV Changi North and Nanospace during the first six months.
• Study the characteristics and handling requirements of different stock-keeping units.
• Analyze and recommend automated material-handling equipment for an intelligent warehouse upgrade.
• Compare equipment performance and costs, including retrofit requirements for the existing facility.

Requirements

• Internship or student status.
• Knowledge of control systems, including kinematics and dynamics, trajectory tracking and path following, motor and servo control, and safety systems.
• Exposure to receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and outbound shipment processes is useful but not mandatory.
• Availability to work onsite in Singapore.
