Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader (MedTech)

Location: Flexible/global; role can be based at a Johnson & Johnson site in the United States, Puerto Rico, Zug, Switzerland, or São Paulo, Brazil. Travel: approximately 25% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Define, deploy, and govern global operational standards across J&J-owned and 3PL-operated distribution centers.
• Establish distribution center archetypes, operating models, performance expectations, and network consistency requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement across Lean, JJOS, visual management, site master planning, EHS, quality, packaging, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Own benchmarking, performance analytics, site scorecards, SLAs, and cost-to-deliver models to support strategic decisions.
• Act as the Global Business Process Owner for Deliver Performance Excellence, approving standards and managing deviations or localizations.
• Build a global team and communities of practice while developing leadership capability, succession plans, and continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, operational excellence, or distribution and warehouse management.
• Proven experience deploying operational standards across global logistics networks.
• Experience with benchmarking, performance analytics, cost-to-serve or cost-to-deliver modeling, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Expertise in distribution center operations, operational excellence frameworks, EHS, quality, regulatory requirements, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
• Ability to lead in a global matrix and drive standardization, change, and measurable business value.

Nice to have

• Medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
• APICS, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification.
