Flight Ops Tools Performance Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain aircraft performance tools, including Electronic Flight Bag solutions, PEP, and PAADMIN, for military transport aircraft.
• Coordinate software requirements, development follow-up, testing, and customer delivery with engineering, software, customer services, and external stakeholders.
• Manage aircraft performance data for the Aircraft Performance Data Manual and Flight Crew Operating Manual in line with applicable regulations.
• Answer customer queries and provide aircraft performance expertise to pilots, performance engineers, mission planners, flight test teams, and training organizations.
• Support Flight Operations services, including training, remote support, customer relations, and delivery of contracted services.
• Manage subcontracted work packages, project risks, mitigation plans, cost targets, quality, and reporting.

Requirements

• Professional experience in aircraft performance, flight operations, performance tools, or a related aerospace engineering area.
• Experience supporting software development activities, including requirements definition, testing, and delivery.
• Ability to work with engineering departments, software development organizations, customer services, flight test, mission planning, and external contractors.
• Ability to manage risks, subcontracted work packages, cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Role is based in the Getafe Area, Spain.
