Salary: USD 21.56–29.10 per hour

What you will do

  • Lead the work of medical assistants and serve as a clinical resource and role model.
  • Assign, instruct, monitor, and evaluate work while training and orienting new medical assistants.
  • Coordinate patient flow by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, updating medical information, and prioritizing visits.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with electrocardiograms, venipuncture, immunizations, procedure trays, specimen collection, and waived testing.
  • Prepare, clean, disinfect, and stock exam rooms while maintaining equipment, instruments, vaccines, medications, and supplies.
  • Participate in meetings, safety rounds, policy reviews, and operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One qualifying credential is required: Illinois EMT licensure, LPN licensure in the state of employment, or current certification through an eligible medical assistant certification body.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong computer skills and two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Onsite work in Oakbrook, Illinois.
