Manager, Finance – Benefits and Compensation

Location: On-site in Irving, TX; alternate locations are New York, NY or Chicago, IL

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annualized, commensurate with experience and skill level

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day administration of qualified and non-qualified pension and 401(k) retirement programs.
• Coordinate with actuaries, auditors, trustees, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators.
• Prepare Retirement Committee agendas, presentation materials, meeting schedules, and follow-up documentation.
• Support benefits oversight, compensation planning, salary administration, market benchmarking, and annual compensation reviews.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, funding monitoring, benefit payments, expenses, and financial disclosures.
• Partner with HR, payroll, Finance, and executive leadership on process improvements and program administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, pension accounting, benefits finance, compensation, or a related area.
• Experience managing pension and 401(k) plans and retirement plan compliance activities.
• Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, DOL, and PBGC regulations.
• Experience working with actuarial consultants, auditors, trustees, and third-party administrators.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management abilities.

Nice to have

• CPA, CEBS, ASPPA, QKA, QPA, CFP, or a similar professional designation.
• Experience in a public company or large multi-location organization.
• Knowledge of executive compensation and equity-based programs.
