Manager - PE Finance General (Private Equity)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global manages private equity investment activities and operates a private equity carry program requiring financial reporting, administration, and control oversight.

What you will do

• Coordinate with business, Legal, and Human Resources to issue grant notices to carry plan participants.
• Execute and record general partner capital calls, distributions, carry payments, and quarterly mark-to-market updates.
• Manage carry plan partner and management reporting and respond to participant inquiries.
• Oversee general ledger entries for monthly close and support financial reporting and financial statement audits.
• Implement processes and controls for new fund launches and a growing private equity business.
• Collaborate with Technology to improve reporting systems, controls, processes, and administrator oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus.
• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience in private equity.
• Experience with private equity carry plans, including agreement review, interest valuation, forfeiture implications, and tax concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong data integrity focus, and excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective verbal, written, presentation, and project planning communication skills.
• Must already have authorization and the right to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
