Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Salary: $26–$46 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and possible additional pay based on experience.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical lines, circuits, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems and electronic components in machinery and production equipment.
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, conveyors, programmable controllers, and newly installed machines.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment including die units, glue units, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
• Replace AC/DC motors and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Perform work safely in accordance with electrical codes, OSHA, and LOTO standards.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of industrial electrical construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with sophisticated circuitry, controls, interlocks, warning systems, and electrical test equipment.
• Ability to read and follow schematic diagrams, blueprints, manuals, specifications, and electrical codes.
• Skill with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Applicable licenses or certifications required to perform the work.
