Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite manufacturing facility. Initial training is scheduled Monday–Friday on an 8-hour day shift, followed by a 12-hour rotating schedule, typically 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a 1-3-3 rotation.
Hourly rate: $26.95–$35.46/hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential.

What you will do
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery, conveyors, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and facility equipment.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions and repair motors, switches, panels, relays, circuit breakers, controls, alarms, and automated machines.
- Use schematics, diagrams, manuals, testing instruments, hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring equipment to locate failures and complete repairs.
- Maintain PLCs, HMI panels, sensors, variable-frequency drives, wiring, power distribution, and process-control systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, maintain repair logs and shift metrics, order replacement parts, and inspect completed repairs.
- Support engineers and production teams while maintaining safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing and facility operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 12 months of employment with .
- Ability to complete the 60-week Operator to Maintenance Technician Training Program and demonstrate proficiency through on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn industrial mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, controls, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication, computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Trade school certification or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance.
- Journeyman-level training and experience.
- Equipment or process troubleshooting experience.
