Senior Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

What you will do

• Lead high-performance project teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Manage project scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, costs, risks, logistics, and change management.
• Communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Coordinate estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting, bid packages, and the construction manager bid process.
• Establish subcontract agreements, trade scopes, quality expectations, safety requirements, and coordination plans.
• Maintain client relationships and oversee project documentation, contract information, change orders, and delivery through the warranty period.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager or in an equivalent leadership position.
• Experience leading multiple large and complex construction projects.
• Training or completed classes in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control, with the ability to lead and supervise large groups.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience leading projects valued at $10 million or more.
• Experience in commercial, education, healthcare, mixed-use, historic preservation, or industrial markets.
