Quality Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global plant in Minneapolis, United States

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Verify machine start-up parameters, production test data, and roll-level quality results against documented requirements.
• Monitor line start-up and product change processes, support production teams with testing questions, and assist with technical escalations.
• Lead the review and disposition of internal nonconforming materials and document the rationale for decisions.
• Investigate root causes of internal nonconformances and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Verify corrective-action effectiveness and report investigation results to customers.
• Assist with manufacturing work instructions, final product testing, production validation methods, and product certification documents.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or Quality Management.
• At least one completed year of coursework; two completed years are preferred.
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities, synthesize findings, and communicate results effectively.
• Ability to collaborate in a team setting with production and quality personnel.
• High initiative, drive, and willingness to continually learn and improve.
