Engineer II-Quality

What you will do

• Support site-level quality systems, processes, and procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve product and process problems with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze quality data and trends using Pareto charts, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Determine root causes and implement corrective actions for returned materials and non-conformities.
• Act as the onsite supplier quality engineer, interface with suppliers and engineering, and support supplier audits.
• Mentor employees and facilitate quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, plus 2 or more years of quality experience or training.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, specifications, procedures, revision controls, and basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to communicate with operators, inspectors, manufacturing and quality engineers, customers, and government representatives.
• Proficiency with computer software applications.
• Proof of US Person Status is required because the role involves technology, materials, software, or hardware controlled by US export laws.
