Intern Engineering

Location: On-site in Sussex, Wisconsin, USA, with internship positions in Waukesha, Pewaukee, and hirify.global plant locations throughout Wisconsin.

What you will do

• Design, validate, and support new products, subsystems, and components from concept through production.
• Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and material part specifications.
• Develop functional requirements, design standard components, and evaluate cost, reliability, risk, safety, and overall effectiveness.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate product, fitness-for-use, laboratory, field, and process validation testing.
• Support product development schedules, costs, design inputs, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, and product specialists; travel to other hirify.global facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Understanding or working knowledge of Pro-E and/or AutoCAD.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
• Ability to work full-time on-site for 40 hours per week from May/June through August 2027.
• Completion of sophomore year is preferred.
