Technical Training Instructor (Turbomachinery)

Location: Mabank, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Travel required up to 50% of the time.

Salary: $77,264–$115,896 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver technical training to customers, field service teams, and employees across a wide range of product applications.
• Teach operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other advanced technical topics related to turbomachinery.
• Design and develop product training programs, including print documentation, video, and computer-based training.
• Perform pre- and post-course maintenance of mechanical and electronic hardware, test equipment, and training packages.
• Apply customer focus, critical thinking, effective communication, and training operations practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Basic knowledge of turbomachinery, control systems, and typical applications.
• Experience with public speaking, technical instruction, or technical on-the-job mentoring.
• Experience investigating and independently learning technical knowledge.
• Basic proficiency with Office 365, the internet, and digital platforms.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week and willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Completed Train the Trainer course.
• Knowledge of instructional techniques.
• Experience leading change and resolving conflicts.
• Spanish communication skills.
